Lynne Abercrombie, CPA

Lynne A. Abercrombie, CPA Audit Partner of Abercrombie & Associates, PC, specializes in helping client's understand the audit and review process and how these compliance services fit into their overall business strategy. Her experience encompasses all phases of financial and tax services with over twenty-five years of public accounting experience with closely held business primarily engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, service, construction, and real estate industries.

Lynne began her career in public accounting in the state of Massachusetts as a liaison between the audit and tax department at Singer and Lusardi, PC. She worked closely with the big four firms conducting audits for publicly held companies as the tax advisor for her local firm. Her extensive experience qualified her to counsel business owners with financial, operational, state and federal compliance issues, and plan effectively for year-end matters.

A graduate of the intensive management consulting program developed by the global accounting association RAN ONE, Lynne has helped clients implement action plans designed to move them closer to their goals, assess the tax and GAAP ramifications of transactions, and provide assistance to owners with structural reorganizations, business valuations, and leveraged positions to move them ahead toward their true business goals.

In addition, Lynne's experience has allowed her to develop specialized tax knowledge with international tax issues, IC DISC exporter tax benefits, transfer pricing issues, foreign tax credit planning, research and development tax credit, cost segregation, and other Internal Revenue Service controversy issues.

Working closely with business owners during the financial and tax process, Lynne strives to deliver strategic growth planning, accountability and reliability to the projects she oversees. Lynne received a BBA in Accounting and Management from Bentley College of Waltham, MA in 1983. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has served on finance committees for various charitable organizations.

Bernard Abercrombie is the founder and managing partner of Abercrombie & Associates. For over 30 years he has been providing tax and advisory services to clients throughout the country. After graduating from Louisiana State University, Bernard began his career with a Big 8 firm, starting directly in the tax department.

Bernard has focused his career in the tax and consulting arena providing advice to small business owners and wealthy individuals. His extensive experience, combined with attention to each client's particular situation, help to ensure a plan that maximizes client's business and personal interests.

In addition to being a CPA, Bernard is a Certified Financial Planner and a Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Bernard has three daughters and he now lives with his wife Lynne in The Woodlands, Texas.
